We have been hearing about Steven Seagal in 2022, but not because of his acting or his other profession: martial arts. Peter Walker is an American folk guitarist noted for his interesting blend of Indian classical and Spanish flamenco styles. However, he was the most productive during the mid-to-late ’60s. Still, his rediscovery by the current crop of Western folk artists has put him back in the spotlight, thereby renewing both touring and recording opportunities in 2022.

Nancy Allen – 71 years old

Nancy Allen became the actress who set the standard of all future angry-goddess teenagers as Chris Hargensen in “Carrie,” a film adapted from Stephen King’s novel by Brain De Palma in 1976. She married De Palma in 1979 and would also be in several of his movies in the ’70s. This wasn’t her only foundation for roles, though, and featured prominently in science fiction films.

When she stepped away from the acting scene back in 2008, she stepped into the world of supporting those who have cancer after her friend, Wendie Jo Spencer, lost her life from the illness. She works for the weSPARK Cancer Support Center in Los Angeles in 2021.

Deidre Hall – 74 years old

Deidre Hall has been busy with the NBC daytime drama “Days of Our Lives,” portraying Dr. Marlena Evans for over 40 years. She has picked up many awards along the way,  including two Best Actress Soapy Awards and three Soap Opera Digest Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1984, 1985, and 1995. She has also been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Three times!

And in 2022, she is still on “Days of Our Lives!” It means that she is in her fifth decade of the role. These days, she balances her time on the show and being a mother, as well as being an author of her own work.

Although she’s not as popular, Bern Nadette Stanis is still considered a trailblazer today. Publications like Essence magazine dubbed her as TV’s first Black feminine symbol. This was thanks to her memorable portrayal of Thelma Evans Anderson in the ’70s sitcom “Good Times.”

Kim Cattrall – 65 Years Old

From the cast of “S^x and the City,” only one other cast member has been nominated for more awards than Sarah Jessica Parker. That actress is Kim Cattrall. She gained fame for playing Samantha Jones in the show and also earned five Emmy Award nominations and four golden globe nominations. She only won one though… the Golden Globe in 2002.

When we see Ryan Seacrest, he’s usually the host of various shows. In 1997, shortly after appearing in the TV movie The Stepsister, the beautiful American actress Linda Evans decided to retire. But last year, the Connecticut native ended up making a surprising screen comeback to work in the German-language drama series Das Traumschiff. This year, she appeared in the movie Swan Song.

Kilburn had around 40 acting credits in his showbiz career, with his last feature film role being a small part in 1962’s Lolita. From 1951 to 1969, he also got to work on about a dozen or so teleplays, TV movies, and TV shows. Kilburn, who lives in Minneapolis, sadly lost his partner of over five decades, actor Charles Nolte, in January 2010.

Nehemiah Persoff – 102 Years Old

With over five decades in the showbiz industry, Nehemiah Persoff was able to rake up more than 200 stage, TV, and film credits to his name. One of his initial noteworthy performances was as the gangster boss Little Bonaparte in the 1959 parody film Some Like It Hot.

In 1999, Persoff decided to retire from acting and did his last project, 4 Faces, which was also the last movie directed by Ted Post. He did, however, had an uncredited role in the TV mini-series Angels in America in 2003. Persoff now lives with his wife and the mother of his four kids, Thia, in Cambria, California.

Caren Marsh Doll – 102 Years Old

Caren Marsh Doll, also known simply as Caren Marsh, has made her rounds on-stage and on-screen as an actress and a dancer. She specialized in tap and modern dancing and was Judy Garland’s dance stand-in in Ziegfeld Girl and The Wizard of Oz.

Marsh is now living her second chance at life after surviving a July 1949 plane crash, along with 13 other people, at age 30. Her younger sister, Dorothy Morris, was also a film and TV star, and they lived next door to one another until Morris died in November 2011. At 102 years old, Marsh is one of the last living celebrities from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Bolo Yeung – 75 Years Old

Kathleen Hughes – 93 Years Old

While Kathleen Hughes was busy writing plays, destiny had its own plans for this legendary woman. It was the Little Theater production house that discovered her acting talents in 1948. Following which she signed a seven-year-long contract with the famous 20th Century Fox studio and gave fourteen blockbuster hits there.

After working in showbiz for around five decades, Kathleen went on an extended break before re-appearing in 2017’s Swamp Women Kissing Booth as Matilda. Working or not, Kathleen is enjoying her life in her early-90s in the company of her four children and other loved ones!

Gene Hackman – 92 Years Old

Barlow played the role for 26 years, from 1971 to 1997, before taking on another starring role in the popular sitcom, Dinnerladies. She played a socialite named Dolly Bellfield.
